Carnival season is nearly here, and we're taking pre-orders for king cakes! This year, you can feast on two of our classic cakes, plus three exclusive, limited-edition collaborations with Emeril Lagasse, Frank Brigtsen, and the Krewe of Muses. You can also buy these cakes with great coffee from French Truck Coffee! (

Classic flavors
Louisiana Satsuma & Almond: Our premiere classic king cake combines the tart, tangy taste of homegrown satsumas with sumptuous almond paste. The brioche-style dough is braided, glazed with even more satsuma, and dusted with purple, green, and gold edible glitter. Give it as a gift or enjoy it yourself!
Gluten-Free Cinnamon: Love the taste of a classic New Orleans king cake but want to forgo the gluten? This is the Carnival treat for you! Soft and pillowy inside, with a not-too-sweet cinnamon ribbon and crust, vanilla glaze, and shimmery edible glitter, this is a cake for everyone to enjoy!
Dubai Chocolate: We'd planned to run this brand-new cake for a limited time, but after tasting it, we think it'll be in demand all season long! If you've never had a Dubai chocolate bar, expect a rich blend of pistachios, chocolate, and vanilla, mixed with heavy cream and kataifi (shredded phyllo), baked in our brioche-style dough!
Limited edition flavors
LIMITED-EDITION: Chef Emeril Lagasse's Banana Cream Pie King Cake (available Jan 6-18): NOCCA faculty and students have performed Carnival magic by transforming Chef Emeril's beloved banana cream pie into a magnificent king cake! Enjoy real bananas wrapped in a luscious vanilla cream, baked inside NOCCA's soft, lightly sweet, brioche-style dough. Available for two weeks only!
LIMITED-EDITION: Chef Frank Brigtsen's Strawberry Tres Leches King Cake (available Jan 19-29): No one loves strawberries more than NOCCA's first-ever Chef-in-Residence, Chef Frank. In this one-of-a-kind king cake, he celebrates the season with fresh strawberries wrapped in tres leches custard and fresh strawberry jam inside our dough. Available for two weeks only!
LIMITED-EDITION: The Goddess, celebrating the Krewe of Muses! (available Jan 30 - Feb12 only): Painters and fashion designers may have their muses, but in New Orleans, we have a whole krewe of them, and they've asked us to create a cake to celebrate Muses' 25th anniversary! "The Goddess" features figs and creamy goat cheese, paired with candied orange, thyme, and toasted walnuts: the unmistakable flavors of Greece. "The Goddess" doesn't compete within the realm of king cakes -- she outranks them all! This divinely inspired delicacy is only available to mortals through Muses tHERsday.
Note: Each cake comes with a special bean for you to hide in the cake. Like plastic king cake babies, the bean isn't for eating.
